In 2008, the building on Quincy Street that formerly housed the Fogg and Busch-Reisinger museums closed for a major renovation. During this renovation, the Arthur M. Sackler Museum remains open and has been reinstalled with some of the finest works representing the collections of all three museums.

All public areas of the museum are wheelchair accessible.
Assistance is needed at the entrance. The door is not automatic.
Complimentary wheelchairs may be borrowed at the coat check on the first floor.
Wheelchair-accessible restrooms are located on the basement level.

All bags are subject to inspection.
Backpacks, bags larger than 11x14 inches, umbrellas, and rigid baby carriers must be checked.
Food and drink are not allowed within the galleries.
Strollers are permitted throughout the museum. Complimentary strollers may be borrowed at the coat check on the first floor.
Photography is allowed for personal, noncommercial use, except where noted. Flash photography and videography are not allowed in the galleries. Tripods are not allowed.
Pencils are allowed in the galleries, but pens, paint, chalk, and crayons are not. Free pencils are available at the admission desk.
Kindly turn off cell phones while in the galleries.
